Klassischer, very British voiced 412 Sound!

    All right now!

I bought this for a Strymon Iridium, which is mostly being used for recording. So, keep that in mind.

I absolutely love the sound of this IR. It’s loud, thick, raunchy, and everything you would expect from an Orange. The thing I loved most about my old Orange amps is that they always sounded a little screwed-up – like a speaker was blown, or somebody wired an EQ knob wrong – it was never crappy or flat-out bad, but something was always ‘off.’ And if you pushed through (and had another regular-sounding instrument in the mix) it sounded like the most amazing, bass-heavy psychedelic, response.

The Orange amp and 2×12 were my go-tos when I played rhythm guitar in heavy bands, and occassionally for recording a throaty solo. I’m happy to say that on the Iridium’s Marshall stack setting, with this loaded as an IR, it sounds every bit as good as I remember on a recording.
